Hope & Compassion at the only Youth Shelter in Jackson County. The HWAM Youth Shelter provides emergency shelter for up to 72 hours —or up to 120 days with parental or guardian consent— for youth ages 10 to 17. The shelter includes 3 separate safe quadrants, consisting of 8 bedrooms, with a total of 16 beds. A safe exit plan is developed through individual case management. Youth can stabilize and stay in school while moving towards family re-unification, alternate family living, or pursuing self-sufficiency.

Serving with New Tribes Missions in Papua New Guinea...

Papua New Guinea (PNG). PNG is located north of Australia on the eastern side of an island shared with West Papua, Indonesia. There are over 830 tribal groups on this island the size of California.  Reaching the unreached with the gospel is Bryan and Shara’s heart as they team with the body of Christ here in the states and New Tribes Mission as the tool to see this happen.  Unreached means, never heard the name of Jesus.  People isolated from God’s Word.  Jesus commands, “Go make disciples of all nations...” Literally this is translated every tribe, or people group.  New Tribes Mission exists to assist the ministry of the local church through the mobilizing, equipping and coordinating of missionaries to evangelize unreached people groups, translate the Scriptures, and see indigenous New Testament churches established that truly glorify God.
